WRHS Student Council

Purpose:

This body is established to promote positive school spirit, enhance student leadership, and plan activities that foster a supportive and uplifting school culture and climate.

Eligibility Requirements:

- Grade Levels: Open to eligible students from grades 9-12.

- Application Process: Students must complete an application and submit two teacher recommendations.

- Academic Standards: Applicants must meet established academic requirements.

- Disciplinary Record: Candidates should not have any major disciplinary infractions in the year preceding their election. Additionally, students must maintain a good standing in both academic and disciplinary areas throughout their term.

Elections:

- Elections for student representatives will take place during the spring semester for grades 10-12. Ninth grade election will take place in the fall. 
Activities:

- Student-planned activities will be coordinated with the program sponsor. For details regarding specific planned activities, please consult with the designated program sponsor.

We encourage all eligible students to consider applying and taking on a leadership role to help shape our school community!
