Mrs. Martin has been a teacher at Warner Robins High School since 2007 after having taught at Central High School in Macon.  While completing her Secondary and English as a Second Language certifications through Rio Salado College in Tempe, Arizona, she substituted for Litchfield Elementary and Agua Fria Union High School Districts outside Phoenix.   

Before teaching, Mrs. Martin was a Special Agent for the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations.  She separated from the USAF in 1994 while her husband remained on active-duty.  She earned two Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Justice/Public Policy from North Carolina Wesleyan College while stationed in North Carolina and a Master of Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma while stationed with her family at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom.  She was also stationed in Colorado, Germany and Washington, DC, and was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.. 

When she's not at school, Mrs. Martin and her husband enjoy mountain biking.  They've been married since 1990 and have a son, three dogs, and two parrots.
