FCCLA

FCCLA stands for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. It is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students involved in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education. FCCLA helps students develop leadership skills, prepare for careers, and make a positive impact in their schools and communities.

What FCCLA Offers

Students can:

  • Develop leadership and public speaking skills
  • Participate in community service projects
  • Compete in STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition)
  • Explore careers in areas such as:

          Education & Training

          Human Services

          Hospitality & Tourism

          Financial Services

          Arts & Design

          Public Service

 

FCCLA mission is:

"To promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education."


State and National Affiliation

Membership Dues:  $35.00 includes a t-shirt or $25.00 without a t-shirt. First year members T-shirt required.

Planned Activities:  FCCLA is actively involved in community service, school projects, and competitive events, which include Region, State, and National competitions.
