Mission
Our mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

Description

Purpose: FBLA is a great organization that offers its members an immense number of opportunities. Students who join gain an invaluable experience that is filled with new people, new places, and new lessons. Through FBLA, members gain the competitive edge for college and career success. By taking advantage of the many programs FBLA offers, students acquire the skills that will set them apart from the average student. Members participate in a variety of activities that help build their leadership and employable skills, while contributing to the improvement of their chapter, their school, and their community.

Membership Requirement: Active members shall be secondary students who become members while enrolled in business and/or business-related fields. Students outside of these fields must see advisers to join.

Financial Obligation/Dues: National dues are based on fiscal reports by the national office and on recommendations by the National Executive Council. State dues are based on fiscal reports by the state office and on the recommendations by the State Board of Directors. National dues of members shall be forwarded directly to the FBLA national office or shall be submitted through state chapters at the discretion of the state chapter. Dues will be submitted to the advisers who will forward them to the correct National/State office.

Planned Activities: Students are encouraged to attend meetings once a month, participate in community/school service projects, participate in American Enterprise Day and FBLA Week, complete a Business Achievement Award, and attend some or all of the conferences. The conferences are Fall Motivational Rally, Fall Leadership Conference, Region Leadership Conference and State Leadership Conference. All conference registrations fees and costs paid to attend/participate are not refundable, once received by adviser.
