Dr. Slaughter is a native of Whigham, Georgia, and has been teaching at Warner Robins High School since 2003. Go Demons! She has been married to Mike Slaughter for 28 years, and they have four children, two grandchildren, and a dog named Waylon. She loves embroidery, traveling, volleyball, reading historical nonfiction, suspense and science fiction novels, exercising, coffee, Star Wars, watching historical dramas and K-Dramas, and listening to social studies, current events, and true-crime podcasts.
