Bio

Profesora Puryear (A.K.A. "Profe") moved to Warner Robins, Georgia, from Red Bank, New Jersey, in June 2007. She is a proud “Military Army Brat.” She has two daughters, Mariah (WRHS Class of 2011) and Toni (WRHS Class of 2014), and a grandson, Dallas-Ray.

 

Profe completed the Georgia Teacher Academy for Preparation and Pedagogy (GaTAPP) Program, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and participated in the Junior Year Abroad Program at the School for Foreigners at La Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Mexico City, Mexico.

 

Profe started as a substitute Spanish Teacher at Warner Robins High School in August of 2007 and became a Modern World Language Educator (Spanish 1 & 2, 9th–12th grade) in July 2008. She currently teaches Spanish 1. Profe was Warner Robins High School's 2016-2017 Teacher of The Year.
