I earned my undergraduate degree at The University of Georgia in Special Education.  I earned my Master's Degree in School Counseling at Fort Valley State University.

I began my teaching degree in 1999 at Feagin Mill Middle School and taught there for 8 years.  After completing my Master's degree in School Counseling I went to Morningside Elementary School and worked there for 1 year.  Although I loved elementary school, Mossy Creek Middle School opened and I went there to be a counselor.  I worked at Mossy Creek for 8 years as a counselor there and then moved back to the classroom.  I accepted a Severe/Profound Special Education teaching position at Mossy Creek and taught there for 2 years.  I left Houston County to go to a neighboring county to teach Interrelated Special Education.  Now, I am back home and teaching a Severe/Profound Special Education class at Warner Robins High School.  This is home!
